Ground Covers

In the native plant world, there are few plants commercially available that rise just a few inches from the ground. In this category you'll find natives at their shortest of 4 inches, all the way to 3 feet. Classifying a native plant as a good ground cover often means it is rhizomatous in nature; it spreads easily and forms colonies, in turn holding soil in place. And, as with all natives, you'll get the added benefit of helping pollinators.
