Paid Internships/Field Work Position: If you love to be outside, work with your hands, and are an enthusiastic learner, then come join the Prairie Moon Team! Prairie Moon is an excellent place to gain experience and knowledge about native plants and seed. We have worked with Colleges and Universities in the past to help you get course credit. During the summer months, this position can give you some experience in other areas of the Nursery such as seed processing, order fulfillment in the Warehouse, and data management. Some of the many duties may include, but are not limited to: bare root packing/shipping, spring planting, burning, hand weeding, transplanting, and seed harvesting. Must be able to work on knees outside for extended periods of time. We prefer full-time but may accept 4 days/week. Hours vary depending on weather, but typically 7am-3pm. Some positions could extend into late fall. Transportation will be required as we are located 12 miles south of Winona, MN. Summer student housing is available in Winona.
