Verbena hastata rosea (Pink Vervain)
Verbena hastata rosea (Pink Vervain) is a natural variation of Blue Vervain. It seems to not tolerate very wet soils as the Blue Vervain does. Pink Vervain attracts bees, butterflies, and birds.
Verbena stricta (Hoary Vervain)
Livestock will not eat Verbena so it may be thought of as 'weedy' by some who observe it in this setting. In a natural prairie, it is not aggressive at all.
Verbena stricta variation (Pale Hoary Vervain)
A natural pink variation of the usual purple Hoary Vervain.

There is a violet for every situation. A sure bet for a violet that will do well in many landscapes would be the Common Blue Violet.
