NEWS on our NEW website: We launched our new online store in June 2009.  We have made a lot of progress since then building the site to meet the needs of our customers, including the launch of our Prairie Blog in September!  Read on to learn about more features of our new site that may make your online plant shopping experience unique:

• 'Plant Finder feature -  Search for plants by desired, height, flower color, bloom time, sun and soil needs! Watch this short Training Video to learn how to use this important website feature...
  
  
• Potted Plants - Trays of 38 plants - Individual species, Rain Garden or Butterfly/Bird Kits or, NEW! customize your own tray  (up to 4 species) at no additional charge! Watch this short Training Video on how to design your tray and place the order online!
  
  
• 'Next-Previous' feature - If you are in a species/product specific page, you will be able to go to the next or previous species/product by clicking an arrow instead of having to use your back browser button to see the search results, or having to search again.

• 'Out of Stock' Email Notification - enter your email address for any item that is out of stock and receive an email when that item is available again!
  
  
• Anticipatory Search - like you may be familiar with on Yahoo and Google, using the search tool in the upper, right corner we try to anticipate what you may be searching for by giving you a drop-down list of those species that match your search.  Choose something from the drop-down list, or simply ignore it and continue typing...
  
  
• Website Wish List - create a user account, then browse the site and add any product to your native plant "Wish List" that will be stored indefinitely for you.  You could also email the entire list to drop a hint to some unknowing friend or family member...
  

• Comparison Feature - look for the 'check to compare' box below the photo.  Check this box for multiple species and then click 'compare selected' near the top of your screen.  You will see all the species you selected; compare sun, soil, height, color, etc. in a chart you created!  You can then delete or choose the species you want from this chart.
