Eupatorium maculatum (Joe Pye Weed) matures to 5' in height and has pink flowers. Joe Pye Weed prefers wet to wet mesic soil conditions, and grows best in full sun to partial shade. Eupatorium maculatum blooms approximately June, July, and August!

Joe Pye Weed has many great companions including Wild Bergamot (Monarda fistulosa) and Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea).

Lilium michiganense has beautiful orange to red-orange flowers which hang down from the top of the stem, and the petals strongly curve back! The Michigan Lily is commonly visited by Swallowtail butterflies, and many other butterflies and hummingbirds (see corresponding photo!)
