[Steve] – (April 16) These are the Kittentails – Wulfenia bullii. Sometimes called Besseya bullii. They are an endangered species in the Upper Midwest. Minnesota has very few populations and there are some other populations throughout the Upper Midwest
It is a drier species; growing next to the Pasque Flowers here, in the drier upper gardens (at Prairie Moon Nursery).
